National Anit-Hunger Organizations Letter To President-Elect Trump and Congress

The National Anti-Hunger Organizations (NAHO) came together in mid-December to issue a statement (pdf) reaffirming the commitment to ensure a strong and effective national nutrition safety net for all Americans and calling on the incoming Congress and the President-Elect to protect and support these critically-important programs.

NAHO partners are are expanding the reach of their letter to include national, state and local organizations demonstrating the diverse groundswell of support for federal nutrition programs. Follow this link to view and sign your organization (organizations only, please) onto this statement.

The deadline to sign onto the letter is Wednesday, March 1st. This sign-on letter will be shared with all Members of Congress and the new Administration.

Good Shepherd Food Bank has signed the letter and we encourage all of our partner organizations in the field to sign on, as well. Thank you for your help advocating for a strong federal safety net!
