Walmart Fight Hunger. Spark Change. Campaign 2014

It's never been easier to make a difference in the lives of children and families in Maine!

Walmart's Fight Hunger. Spark Change. Campaign 2014 allows the public to engage in the fight against child hunger easily, with just a quick, daily visit to their website. And we can make a difference for children right here in Maine.

Through Fight Hunger. Spark Change. the public can participate in a voting campaign to determine which Feeding America food banks will receive funding awards from Walmart.

The campaign runs from Monday, September 15th (12:01am Eastern time) to Sunday, October 5th (11:59pm Eastern time).  At the conclusion of the voting campaign, the 50 food banks nationwide that receive the most votes will each receive a funding award of $60,000.  Please help feed hungry Maine children and families by voting for Good Shepherd Food Bank.

You may vote once a day, every day, from September 15-October 5.  Set a reminder on your calendar, an alarm on your phone, tell your friends, email your co-workers, post it on Facebook.  There isn't an easier way to raise money for child hunger in Maine!

Please go online to www.walmart.com/fighthunger and vote for Good Shepherd Food Bank!

GSFB Network is a blog for partner agencies of Good Shepherd Food Bank focused on feeding Maine's hungry.
