ABC's 20/20 Looking for Subjects for Hunger Story

Good Shepherd Food Bank has been contacted by ABC's 20/20, which is looking to do a documentary story about the elusive nature of the American Dream. Please feel free to reach out using the contact information at the bottom of this post if you know of a client family who fits the bill. From 20/20:

I am currently working on a documentary regarding the increasingly elusive quest for the American Dream.

The profile: an upper middle class family (preferably with children), currently struggling to maintain the middle class lifestyle they once knew.  The things that traditionally defined the American Dream – owning your own house, sending your children to college, expecting a lifestyle better than your parents – are now a distant memory for many Americans.  Our documentary will search for answers about what has changed in this country that has made that dream so elusive.

We want to find an extraordinary family willing to share their struggles with us.  The qualities we are searching for are emotional honesty and the ability to articulate the daily struggles they experience.  If you are currently working with clients who fit this profile, please send me an email (Muriel.Pearson@abc.com) or give me a call at 212 456 7589.

Regards,

Muriel Pearson
