Food Recall -- Cape Cod Provisions Candy

Please check your inventory for the following product that has been recalled!


Cape Cod Provisions LLC of Pocasset, MA is recalling Cape Cod Cranberry Candy™ and Harvest Sweets™ Milk Chocolate/Dark Chocolate/Yogurt Covered Cranberry Blend (mix of all three varieties in the package) because they may contain undeclared yogurt covered almonds. These products can further be identified by their UPC codes; Cape Cod Cranberry Candy™ UPC 6 12681 10259 3 and Harvest Sweets™ UPC 6 12681 44259 0. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

You may have received this product in a donation or food drive.  Please check your inventory for product with this label and check it against the UPC codes listed above.

You must inspect your inventory for recalled products before your next distribution of food. Recalled food that has been purchased should be returned in accordance with the recall instructions.  Recalled food that was donated to your program should be disposed of in a way that people will not be able to consume it (locked dumpster, for example).
